As a comprehensive solution, the door handle module has an integrated actuator and an integrated escape release. In combination with the safe safety gate sensor PSENmlock for safe locking and safe guard locking, the door handle module is a customizable, safe solution for walk-in doors.

Safe guard locking is made possible by the two-channel control of the guard locking. This makes the switch particularly suitable for use on machines with dangerous overtravel, where safe guard locking up to the highest safety category Performance Level e is required.

Security combined with high flexibility

The PSENmlock door handle module can be used for both left-hinged and right-hinged doors. It can be installed on the inside or outside and is compatible with both swing doors and sliding doors. These different options mean that the door handle module can be used for different doors. Users benefit from maximum flexibility during installation.

The yellow door handle is located on the outside of the door to be secured and is used to extend the actuator for closing or opening. The escape release can only be triggered by the red door handle on the inside. This allows people to leave a potentially hazardous area inside the machine room at any time. The PSENmlock door handle module has a locking insert for up to five locks. This prevents the machine from restarting unintentionally after a stop. Safety on accessible doors is increased, thus preventing accidents.

Modular and customizable security on doors

The PSENmlock door handle module is the latest addition to the modular safety gate system from Pilz. As a modular safety gate solution with access control, the safety gate system provides sensors, escape release, door handles, a diagnostic system and a push-button unit with optional integrated access authorization system as well as the appropriate evaluation unit. Users benefit from quick assembly and installation. All modules of the safety gate system can be individually combined to provide flexible protection for walk-in doors. Together with the configurable safe small controller PNOZmulti 2 from Pilz, a safe complete solution for safety gate monitoring is created.
