Personal protective equipment

Dressed safely at work

Employees' clothing should be 100% safe, especially in hazardous areas. Bardusch is familiar with the requirements and standards of individual industries and provides customers with comprehensive advice on which protective clothing is right for each employee. The new Work & Protect collection proves to be energy-saving and flexible.

Personal protective equipment (PPE) is used to reduce or eliminate job-specific stresses and hazards. Bardusch offers customers an extensive range of suitable PPE articles. The range extends from head protection to eye and face protection, respiratory protection, foot protection, hand protection, fall protection and workwear. All items comply with all applicable DIN standards and accident prevention regulations as well as the prescribed EN standards.

Today's demands are particularly high when it comes to workwear: it needs to be functional, protective, comfortable and cost-effective, but also stylish and modern. And another feature is becoming increasingly important: ergonomics. Ergonomically designed clothing is becoming increasingly important in the world of work. With the Work & Protect line, the company offers a collection that combines all these requirements and can also be combined with each other. This line was developed together with the well-known brand manufacturer Uvex.

Almost all areas can be equipped with the collection - even those where protective clothing must protect employees from the dangers associated with their work. This series is the first collection to include workwear and protective clothing with corresponding occupational safety standards. In addition to workwear, the collection also includes multifunctional, welding and chemical protective clothing as well as high-visibility and weatherproof clothing. Heat protection requirements are also met.

In all its versions, the collection combines special ergonomic properties and functions in its fibers. As a core element, particularly high-performance stretch inserts, which are otherwise familiar from the outdoor sector, support the movement sequences. Compared to conventional workwear and protective clothing, the wearer has to exert ten times less force to perform a movement. This makes a significant contribution to preventing tension and sometimes serious health problems such as slipped discs. It also reduces the risk of accidents, as the wearer's concentration and performance remain at a high level for much longer.

The line, consisting of a waistband jacket, waistband trousers, dungarees, overcoat, overall, heat protection shirt and fleece jacket in various colors, can be combined for many areas of application. People who work on or near live parts of electrical systems in particular benefit from this. They are always exposed to the dangers of electric arcs. These not only occur in the event of a short circuit, but can also occur in connection with the disconnection of live parts. The fleece jacket can also be used as an inner lining for jackets from the high-visibility protection, high-visibility and weather protection and weather protection ranges.

Combination offers class 2 protection
Combining the heat protection shirt and the waistband jacket, both arc flash class 1, provides protection against the thermal hazards of class 2 arc flashes. Despite all the versatility, the design remains consistent throughout. This means that Work & Protect always meets the requirements of corporate fashion for a uniform appearance for employees. The collection thus acts as a company's textile reference.

Bardusch's service does not end with the equipment. The company offers an all-round service and covers all segments of textile services. The service provider has created a closed cycle that includes procurement, collection of soiled textiles and delivery of laundered textiles as well as care, repair and replacement. The company thus reduces unnecessary costs for its customers and helps to ensure the consistently high quality of textile furnishings.
