Hygienically clean surfaces with water only
Hygiene protocols have gained enormous importance in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Easy-to-use and reliable solutions are in demand. Such as the new 3M Microbe Removal cleaning wipe: according to the company, it removes 99.9 percent of viruses and bacteria from hard, non-porous surfaces without any chemical additives, using only water.
The effective action of the cleaning wipes for the immediate removal of microbes is based on patented 3M technology. The 25.4 x 19.5 cm disposable wipes have a special coating that creates a network of positively charged branches. They are supplied dry and only water is added for use. When wet, the positively charged cleaning cloths catch and hold negatively charged microbes electrostatically.
According to 3M, independent tests have confirmed that the moistened disposable cleaning wipes immediately remove 99.9% of microbes, including SARS-CoV-2. Both live and dead microbes are captured and removed from the surface - directly when wiping, without waiting or exposure times, as is necessary with disinfectants, for example. As the wipe captures and retains the microbes, cross-contamination on other surfaces is virtually eliminated.
The 3M Microbe Removal cleaning wipes combine high effectiveness with ease of use, without any chemical odor or impairment of the surface finish. The wipes are therefore suitable for numerous application situations: in retail and catering, for example, to quickly disinfect between two customers. In the healthcare sector, nosocomial infections can be reduced in this way. In other commercial facilities such as offices, authorities or schools, it is possible to install new cleaning protocols for greater hygiene. The innovation is available in pack sizes of 85 or 200 wipes. Corresponding refill rolls are also available.
