The clear, easy-to-use handheld combines a touchscreen, connector, WLAN interface and battery in one compact device. IOL-Portable is suitable for devices up to max. 80mA with IODD specification 1.1.

With this versatile hand tool, users can test the functionality of IO-Link devices using an intuitive app even before a system has been fully set up. The IOL Portable can be used to read out measured values, make configuration and diagnostic settings and put sensors into operation. Previous knowledge, a separate controller or the use of additional hardware are not required.

With the IOL Portable, operating and service personnel have access to the information provided by the sensor manufacturer at all times and can make settings and adjustments within seconds. Measuring 220 x 90 x 62 mm and weighing just 600 grams, the device with its 5.5 inch display fits comfortably in the hand, requires no additional space and is immediately ready for use. IO-Link driver files (IODD) are downloaded automatically via WLAN from the IODDfinder or alternatively via SD card. There is no need for time-consuming driver searches on the Internet.

IOL-Portable supports the IO-Link user roles Observer, Maintenance and Specialist. Pre-definable favorites allow quick access to specific IO-Link parameters. IO-Link is the world's first IO technology standardized according to IEC 61131-9. The digital, bidirectional point-to-point connection stands for efficient communication with sensors and actuators below the bus or control level.
