With easymon, users can now access live data values from ADS controllers and are informed in real time if manual intervention is necessary. easymon is now available to download from the easymon landing page. "Our mobile application was previously reserved for users of PLCnext controllers from Phoenix Contact. System status in view at all times

The name says it all at in-tech: the installation and commissioning of easymon was deliberately designed by the developers to be very simple and intuitive. With easymon, system parameters that should not exceed a certain value, for example, can be monitored using a smartphone. To do this, the easymon connector accesses the ADS interface of the controller to read variables from the program. Data points to be monitored can be selected via a convenient web interface and threshold values and criteria for notification can be defined. In addition, the easymon app is installed on a mobile device that communicates with the machine via a cloud service.

Early detection of deviations and problems

"With the easymon app, the user can independently define which events the system should automatically report to them - and can devote themselves to other tasks in the meantime," says the Managing Director. The mobile device displays the current values live and notifies the user as soon as the predefined threshold values are reached. The user receives a warning if the threshold is exceeded and can therefore recognize at an early stage whether there is a problem with the machine and proactively rectify the deviation or damage.

With easymon, several systems can be monitored with one app as well as one system with different mobile devices. Thanks to its cloud compatibility, the app can be used worldwide and different systems at different locations can be monitored from a single location. Data transmission is encrypted and stored on servers in the EU.

The software can be adapted to various industrial systems and can also be expanded to implement individual predictive maintenance applications, for example, and each user can select the offer that best suits their needs and pay a flat rate per month - with no hidden costs.
