With the F110-EX, Getac now provides ATEX and IECEx options for three of its most popular Windows-based rugged tablets, the UX10-EX, F110-EX and K120-EX. The F110-EX is equipped with the same powerful features as the recently launched new F110, including the 11th generation Intel Core processor with integrated Iris Xe graphics, PCIe NVMe SSD storage, Wi-Fi 6 for three times faster data speeds compared to previous generations, Bluetooth 5.2 and 4G LTE WWAN. An integrated Thunderbolt 4 port provides 40 Gb/s connections for extended end-to-end solution capabilities, while the 11.6-inch LumiBond 2.0 display offers high image brightness (1000 nits) and perfect readability in any weather.

Intrinsically safe design

The F110-EX also incorporates a number of intrinsically safe design features that enable it to meet the stringent ATEX and IECEx certification standards for use in Zone 2/22 hazardous environments. These include integrated covers or rubber coatings on connections, guide pins and exposed metal parts, sealed plug connections and a screen protector, which eliminates the risk of electrical sparks that can ignite explosive atmospheres.

Like all Getac devices, the F110-EX is designed to be robust through and through. MIL-STD-810H and IP66 certification, drop resistance from a height of 1.2 meters during operation and temperature resistance from -21°C to +60°C ensure additional safety while simultaneously increasing user productivity.
