Information and guidance systems
Fire load-optimized monitors
Monitors in public areas serve as information and guidance systems for passers-by and visitors. Such monitors are often located in places that are also designated as escape and rescue routes. Special fire safety rules apply to these.
Distec now offers the new fire load optimized (BLO) monitors in sizes from 24" to 65", certified to A1-s1,d0 (non-combustible) in parallel to the previous monitors certified to B-s1,d0 (the best level in the class of flame-retardant products). In the further development of the BLO-Line, the company is using durable displays that are designed for 24/7 operation.
Distec offers the monitors in landscape mode as standard, but portrait mode versions of all models are also available.
Monitors without smoke emission with certificate
With these smoke gas and band load-optimized monitors, the manufacturer has dispensed with all materials that develop smoke gases or contribute to the fire load in the event of a fire. The fire behavior, i.e. the flammability and combustibility of the monitors, was determined based on the SBI method in accordance with DIN 13823:2015-02. The fire test was carried out in accordance with the European standard DIN EN13501-1.
Distec's fire load optimized monitors are available in two classifications with the properties no smoke gas development - no flammable dripping/falling off.
The devices are fitted with fireproof protective glass and have a sturdy sheet steel housing. They are available as a simple monitor for external control or with an integrated PC. Each monitor comes with a certificate confirming the fire class of the device.
