At Hannover Messe 2023, Contact Software is making the benefits of digitalization tangible with its Elements low-code platform: an electric formula racing car, its digital twin and a racetrack simulation.

Under the motto "Where PLM meets IoT", the company will be demonstrating in Hanover how the product life cycle can be made more sustainable from an economic and ecological perspective with end-to-end PLM and IoT applications.

Contact and the Form Student Electric Team from the University of Bremen have converted the electrically powered racing car from Bremergy into a driving simulator and networked it via the Contact Elements platform. The product structure in PLM can be seen on one monitor, while the IoT dashboard visualizes the analysis of operating data on the second monitor. Visitors to the trade fair can take a few laps on the virtual course and see how their driving behavior is affected. In addition, the interaction of PLM and IoT products is played out on a technical change and illustrates the added value of closed-loop engineering.
