Timing belts with maintenance-free end connectors
Habasit presented its portfolio at Motek. As all-rounders, HabaSync timing belts generate low operating costs.
The belt widths range from 10 mm to 600 mm. These timing belts have a pitch of T10 or H and are made of thermoplastic polyurethane with an aramid tension member. Individual configurations are possible depending on the intended use. The thermoplastic polyurethane with a hardness of 88 to 92 Shore A is resistant to oil, grease or chemical agents as well as hydrolysis.
The HabaSync Hinge Joint mechanical end connection is transversely and extensively rigid as well as flexible and enables quick timing belt replacement for widths from 25 to 600 mm. The stable hinge joint made of high-strength plastic is integrated into the timing belt and ensures easy handling.
