Among other things, Schaeffler will be presenting its new food program in Hanover. The company sees "sustainable engineering" as a lever for saving energy and raw materials.

Designers and developers are encouraged to analyze existing solutions more comprehensively in terms of resource consumption, durability, wear and operating costs and to look for alternatives. Examples of how digitalization and sustainability can be combined in operations will also be demonstrated in hall 6 at stand C48.

An expanded precision shaft gearbox portfolio and a sensorized shaft gearbox, both for articulated robots with payloads of up to around 20 kg, will also be presented. Schaeffler will also be presenting a precision planetary gearbox portfolio from the PSC series for industrial robots. This is characterized by low backlash and a service life extended by a factor of three.
