All-rounder for format adjustment
The E-II single-tube linear unit is an all-rounder for format adjustment. Just in time for the Hannover Messe, RK Rose+Krieger has now launched the stainless steel version of the popular axis. Initially in the popular sizes 30 and 40.
The E-II stainless steel is 100% corrosion-resistant and has an extended temperature range of -30 to +80 °C compared to the standard units - even higher temperatures are possible on request. As the new stainless steel axes also work with food-safe, FDA-compliant lubricants and can be washed down, they are recommended for width, height and length adjustment in packaging machines in the food industry, for example. The new axis will be available from the second quarter of 2018.
The new single-tube axles have ball bearings as standard for the spindle bearing and a guide carriage with sliding bush. They will be available with right-hand or left-hand threads as well as right-hand and left-hand threads. The version with right-hand and left-hand threads, in which the slides move towards each other, is particularly suitable for format adjustments. kp
