The Ontec Assistant is the combination of a powerful and efficient intralogistics platform and precise and intelligent robot handling. This product is Ontec 's answer to modern requirements in scaling and changing production environments. The Assistant is a reliable and autonomous system that can be adapted to a wide range of applications. This solution independently picks up pallets weighing up to 1,200 kilograms directly from the floor and transports them to freely definable destinations. The integrated six-axis robot lifts weights of up to 50 kilograms and has a versatile camera system.
According to the company, the Assistant offers numerous advantages: it combines handling, transport and processing tasks in one platform and has a modular design for adaptation to individual customer requirements. The Assistant robot also allows loads to be picked up directly from the floor (without elevation). The modern battery technology guarantees long operating times with safe operation and a long service life. The use of a standard industrial robot is also possible. Autonomous omnidirectional driving with free navigation in space is also one of the advantages.
The Ontec Assistant uses the synergy of mobility and automation, for example, to set up systems, to check and log at constantly changing work locations or to relieve employees when handling heavy loads.
