Low cost automation
How to get started with robotics quickly, even on a budget
Last year, sales of industrial robots exceeded the 486,000 mark, a new record. And this development is not stopping in other areas either: more and more simple, monotonous tasks have long been automated by robotics - and not just in large-scale industry.
Even small and medium-sized companies, which are exposed to national and international competitive pressure, now see the use of affordable and easy-to-commission articulated arm, linear, scara and delta robots as a promising way of reducing their costs.
So what does the triumphant advance of low-cost robots mean for these companies, what are their requirements and what solutions are available? And how can even robotics newcomers make the leap into automation? A stocktaking.
Alexander Mühlens from Igus will talk about this at the digital networking days Robotics on December 6 at 10 am.
