Robot processes cast parts
Together with Hövekenmeier, Kawasaki Robotics demonstrated a plasma cutting application for the finishing of workpieces in the foundry.
For this purpose, the Kawasaki Robotics BX200L was equipped with a plasma cutter from Kjellberg. This then processes a cast part from truck production, which was attached to a Kawasaki PST 180 positioner.
The BX200L, with a load capacity of up to 200 kg and a horizontal reach of 2,597 mm, was specially developed for vehicle construction.
