Fanuc and BMW have signed a framework agreement for the delivery of 3,500 robots. In future, these will be used in new production lines and plants for the production of current and future BMW models. According to the announcement, the first robots were already installed in 2019, with further robots to follow in the coming years. Various models will be used, including robots specially developed to meet the requirements of the automotive group.
