Pneumatic swivel unit
Ergonomic handling of panels up to 180 kg
Fipa developed a pneumatic swivel unit for Ballingly Joinery 2000, a manufacturer of, among other things, fire doors, with which panels weighing up to 180 kg can be safely swiveled.
According to Fipa, the swivel unit is simply mounted between the Fipalift Expert tube lifter and the load traverse. Actuation of the 5/3-way valve triggers the swivel process. The swivel unit lifts plates weighing up to 180 kg and swivels them by up to 90° using compressed air.
As the swivel unit solves handling tasks that many wood, sheet metal and glass processing companies face, the customer-specific solution has now been incorporated into the standard range.
