Safety system protects people and material
Rose+Krieger has developed an internal safety system for its Multilift II safety to ensure that people and objects are not put at risk by the uncontrolled raising or lowering of the lifting column.
This consists of a mechanical end stop equipped with a plastic damper. According to the manufacturer, this safety feature prevents the inner profile from sliding out of the outer profile of the lifting column in the event of a drive failure. In addition to the Multilift II safety, the product range of narrow, powerful lifting columns also includes the simple Multilift II and the "impact" versions with an internal damping system to absorb high impact forces, "ESD" for ESD workstations and the three-stage, telescoping Multilift II "telescope" version. The different versions have been created by adapting to ever-increasing customer requirements. According to R+K, further versions are already being planned. sw
