From February 28 to March 1, 2018, Schunk is hosting its Expert Days on Service Robotics for the tenth time. The expert meeting will be held under the motto "Smart Future with Cobots and Co-acts".
The symposium of the service robotics movement is celebrating a milestone anniversary: Schunk, the competence leader for gripping systems and clamping technology, is organizing the Expert Days on Service Robotics for the tenth time. Under the motto "Smart Future with Cobots and Co-acts", the world's leading communication platform for applied service robotics will highlight technological developments, challenges and opportunities in service robotics from February 28 to March 1, 2018.
The topics range from the use of cobots in logistics and distribution to complex control and monitoring technologies for complex robot systems and value creation using data-based methods such as machine learning, visual perception and speech recognition. Speakers include Prof. Dr. Sami Haddadin, Director of the Institute of Automatic Control at Leibniz Universität Hannover, Prof. Dr. Torsten Kröger from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology KIT and Melonee Wise, CEO of Fetch Robotics from San Jose/USA.
