However, in 1819, the year the company was founded at the same location as it is today, it did not start out building precision machines, but as a manufacturer of files and rasps. The company later developed mechanical rasping machines for their production and exported them to South America from 1906.

In the 1930s, a new direction was taken with the manufacture of measuring equipment and tools for the automotive industry. In 1942, Peiseler then developed the first precision dividing tables, rotary tables and dividing units, laying the foundation for today's range.

Rapid development over the last 20 years
"Even though we have developed very different products over the course of our company history, the technological progress we have made and our drive for perfection and precision have always driven our success," emphasizes Dr. Benedict Korischem, Managing Partner of the company, which is headquartered in Remscheid and has branches in Morbach, Grand Rapids (USA) and Taiwan.

In the past 20 years alone, Peiseler has presented around 50 new developments, registered several patents and built around 50,000 turners, rotary tables, two-axis swivel units, swivel heads and mold change tables. Outstanding innovations were the first single-axis NC dividing head with direct drive in 1997 and the world's first directly driven two-axis swivel device in 2001.

This is also the result of investments of almost 20 million euros in modernization and expansion over the last two decades. "This has also enabled us to significantly increase our turnover and productivity," says Korischem. A consistent internationalization strategy has also played its part. With a global market share of 30 percent in the comparable quality segment, Peiseler is now one of the leading manufacturers of dividing heads. Reason enough for the company to look back proudly on 200 years of history and celebrate this special anniversary. as
