New sizes
Expansion of the gripper range
The Zimmer Group is expanding its portfolio within the GPP5000AL and GPD5000AL gripper series. The new GPP5025AL size for 2-jaw parallel grippers and the new GPD5016AL three-jaw centric gripper close existing gaps in the size range and give users additional flexibility when designing pneumatic gripping solutions.
The series stands for compact, economical grippers with high-quality aluminum linear guides. Compared to conventional T-slot grippers, this precise guide variant delivers significantly better performance and is technically on a par with many other standard guide principles on the market. It enables stable, maintenance-free motion sequences and is therefore perfect for a wide range of industrial handling and automation tasks.
The long-stroke versions are also new: Customers who opt for the L variants with extended stroke of the GPP5000AL series benefit from a special advantage: these long-stroke versions enable up to 60% more stroke with the same size, opening up new application possibilities, especially for large gripping paths or varying workpiece dimensions. At the same time, the use of a smaller size reduces weight, installation space and therefore investment costs - a clear advantage for efficient and dynamic automation concepts.
Further product highlights:
- Aluminum profile guideway - precise, low-wear and economical, with significantly improved performance compared to standard T-slot guideways.
- L variants with extended stroke - up to 60 % more stroke with the same size for maximum flexibility and optimized system concepts
- Wide range of variants and accessories - optimally adapted to different stroke, force and design situations
- Maintenance-free design - low-wear aluminum-steel profile groove guide reduces follow-up costs and downtimes.
- Suitable for cleanrooms - certified to DIN EN ISO 14644-1 for cleanroom class 4, ideal for clean production environments.
With the new GPP5025AL size, the Zimmer Group is expanding the series specifically in the area of medium lifting and force requirements. It offers balanced force/weight performance and fits seamlessly into the existing modular system. In addition, the new GPD5016AL as a three-jaw centric gripper addresses applications where centric, positive workpiece gripping is required and consistently transfers the proven design principles of the 5000AL family to this gripping concept.
This further development underlines the Zimmer Group's commitment to providing innovative, modular and sustainable components for automation technology - with a focus on cost-effectiveness, performance and user-friendliness.
