New plug-and-play solutions for the warehouse

Exotec announces a new Skypath conveyor system, the optimized Skypicker picking robot and Deepsky, another proprietary storage software. All three products can be seamlessly integrated into the manufacturer's Skypod system.

The Skypath is a modular conveyor system that achieves a maximum throughput of 2,500 containers per hour. It can be assembled from various modules consisting of curves, inclines and straight lines. This modular principle means that the Skypath is suitable for most logistical requirements and layouts and can be easily adapted to different needs.

The new version of the Skypicker, an intelligent picking arm, has an image processing system based on machine learning that automatically recognizes the weight and size of items. It adapts its picking process to fragile or heavy items, makes optimum use of the available space and thus ensures smooth handling of the parcels.

Deepsky is a configurable end-to-end warehouse software solution. The software automatically sends system messages to pre-configured dashboards and integrates seamlessly with the most popular WMS and WCS. This makes warehouse management more transparent. This enables more precise planning, which increases performance.

"With our innovations, we put our customers in an even better position to operate efficient, scalable and modular warehouses that adapt to their individual needs," explains Romain Moulin, CEO and co-founder of Exotec. "Our collaboration with more than 30 industry-leading brands gives us a unique perspective on the biggest challenges in intralogistics. It enables us to continuously innovate and create further added value for our customers.
