The gentle stop

Wörner is expanding its portfolio of components for material flow control with stoppers from the PND series. The stoppers gently stop workpiece carriers at the desired position and release them for further transport after the respective work step.

The integrated damping system covers a wide weight range and the damping capacity has been increased by around ten percent in the same installation space. The damping force can be infinitely adjusted at the top of the device. According to Wörner, air consumption is around ten percent lower than comparable products. A modified force transmission into the device makes it robust against residual impacts. In conjunction with other improvements, this results in a long service life - tested at 7.5 million cycles, critical components up to 30 million cycles. as
