Handling
Manual handling with added value
At LogiMat, Schmalz will be exhibiting robot grippers for handling entire layers and an air-free vacuum system, among other things. The JumboFlex picker now lifts packages weighing up to 50 kg. Another exhibit is the JumboFlex Weight-Control. With the integrated weighing device, the user can immediately see the weight of the lifted load. They can read the result in kg, tare and define limits via a display. A light strip provides a visual indication of whether the limit value has been met or exceeded. All Jumbo versions have been AGR-certified since summer 2022: The Aktion Gesunder Rücken association has recognized the load lifting systems as back-friendly products. This also includes the Jumbo Ergo 85.
The Binar Neo 30 is independent of power or compressed air connections. The rope balancer can perform 200 to 500 strokes on a single battery charge. Sensors detect the manual force of the operator and translate this into a speed and direction impulse. The maximum load capacity is 30 kg. Schmalz will be demonstrating the possibilities for automating intralogistics processes using several practical examples. The revised ZLW lightweight layer gripper turns lightweight robots into palletizers. Thanks to its low dead weight, there is still enough load capacity for handling loads in layers. The GCPi is responsible for compressed air-free vacuum generation. Schmalz installed the electric compact pump for the trade fair. The exhibit demonstrates a compressed air-free system architecture.
