Intelligent parts feeding system
The Flexibowl parts feeding system is now being distributed in Germany by the Hessian company Cretec GmbH and is therefore also available as part of the application-specific complete solutions of the QBIC system.
In February 2020, Cretec GmbH took over the general agency for the distribution of the Flexibowl parts feeding system from the Italian company ARS in Germany.
In combination with different robots and cobots as well as a powerful vision system, Flexibowl can be used to sustainably design many complex tasks with frequent product changes and high flexibility. The product family of parts feeding units ensures reliable handling of components ranging in size from 1 to 250 millimetres and weight from 1 to 250 grams. One or two motorized magazines deliver the parts precisely to the rotating round jogging unit. Here, even sensitive components are reliably separated and an air blower ensures that the parts are kept at a safe distance from the edge.
Variety of variants
The rotating screen is available in different colors, textures and degrees of surface adhesion. The backlighting or overhead lighting is integrated with infrared, red or white options. Another option is the installation of LED boards developed by Cretec with any geometric arrangement. They can be individually controlled as continuous or flashing light and offer the entire RGB spectrum. The integrated vision system provides precise part and position data regarding geometry, surface properties, material properties and weight for a secure grip with the robot. Cretec GmbH also supplies this modular system solution integrated into its application-specific complete solutions of the QBIC system. dsc
