Andreas Mühlbauer,

For handling small parts

The new GEP2000-B version has two additional functions. It has free positioning capability, which allows the gripper to be pre-positioned. This allows the stroke to be flexibly adapted to the workpiece. Another new feature is the workpiece loss monitoring function. If a workpiece is lost due to external influences, the gripper now detects this and sends the information to the controller.

All grippers in the GEP2000 series are equipped with an integrated controller and a mechanical self-locking mechanism and are available in three control variants: With IO-Link, with digital I/0 and with digital I/0 in combination with an analog output for querying the jaw positions. All grippers have an emergency release and bidirectional data transmission (IL version only).
