Compatible clamping technology
Kipp is renewing its clamping technology product groups for Metav 2018. In future, there will be 19 product groups in four areas. The systems have a modular design and are compatible with each other. This guarantees maximum set-up time optimization for the processing machines. Standard components are 95 percent available from stock and can therefore be delivered quickly.
There are optimizations and innovations in all product groups: For example, a pneumatic positioning and clamping system has been added to the existing mechanical "ball lock". A new feature is a pyramid made of mineral casting for multiple clamping operations in the tightest of spaces - the ideal basis for 5-axis machining. New mechanical form clamps (round and square) enable the reliable clamping of free-form workpieces. A new group includes centric clamps with zero-point interface and automation option. The workpiece stabilizer system ensures significant vibration reduction on the workpiece. sw
