Customize 3D printed workpieces by hand
In 3D printing, all conceivable variants of layered, three-dimensional objects are possible. However, it is difficult to make changes after the printing process. Computer scientists at Saarland University are therefore incorporating newly developed elements into the 3D object at predefined points, allowing it to be modified even after printing.
