The clamping system with a robust housing made of anodized, high-strength aluminium is used in vehicle body shell construction or for connecting machine elements, for example. The self-locking elements, which are clamped with springs and pneumatically reinforced, achieve a pull-in force of 3 kN at 5 bar over a pull-in distance of 4.5 mm. A fully electronic monitoring system is integrated and indicates the status via LEDs on the rear of the clamping system.
