Efficient automation with pneumatic clamping elements
With new pneumatic products in the categories "Pneumatic clamps" and "Positioning elements and systems", norelem is expanding its existing range of components for the production processes of Industry 4.0.
Pneumatic clamping elements powered by compressed air have proven their worth in numerous automated production applications when it comes to exchanging workpieces quickly and precisely, thereby optimizing work processes.
New swivel and lever clamps
Pneumatic swivel and lever clamps from norelem are used wherever low clamping forces are sufficient to clamp a workpiece or when the clamping point must be free for insertion and removal. They are made of aluminum and are designed so that they can be mounted in different ways and in different positions - e.g. on workbenches - so that the swivel clamp always holds the workpiece in place optimally.
The swing clamps are available in left or right-swinging versions and are characterized by a fast swinging and clamping movement. They are typically used in the aerospace, automotive, mechanical engineering, food and packaging and consumer goods industries. Three swing clamps and a lever clamp are new additions to the norelem range.
Innovations in positioning elements and systems
Pneumatic positioning cylinders, positioning mounts and centering clamps from norelem impress with their compact design, elastomer seals and stainless steel base bodies. The pin and bushing are also hardened to prevent wear during frequent cycles.
The new components for machines and fixtures in the range work with compressed air, are designed for simple clamping and positioning tasks and ensure, for example, that pallets, fixture plates or robot accessories can be changed quickly. In addition, they enable the simultaneous clamping and unclamping of attachments as well as the direct positioning and clamping of components without a counterpart during centering clamping.
