Packaging hotmelt

New adhesive: the future is called Evotura

The use of the new "Evotura" packaging hot melt achieves cost savings on all packaging machines. Cost savings are particularly important in the highly competitive food industry, and the choice of a suitable packaging hotmelt is a strategically important decision for companies. With Evotura, the French family-owned company Landoin has developed a new type of hotmelt with which potential savings of between 20 and 50 can be achieved by applying less adhesive with equivalent final adhesive strength.

The special feature of this versatile adhesive development is the combination of raw materials, which saves costs. Tests have shown that existing hot melt nozzle systems do not need to be modified in order to use Evotura. In addition, its compatibility with standard polyolefin hotmelts means that it can be used immediately in ongoing production. Companies from various sectors of the food industry appreciate other advantages of the new adhesive quality - such as a wide tolerance range that allows higher machine speeds. Whether the restoring forces are small or largeis irrelevant for the use of Evotura, as the initial stack is less than 0.5 seconds and easily compensates for even very high restoring forces.

Customers emphasize the cleanliness of the adhesive and the associated reduced cleaning effort, they say. Evotura is fully transparent and leaves no soiling in the tank or on the glue line. The hotmelt fulfills all the necessary certificates for the food packaging industry. Gerald Theobald, Landoin adhesives/pb
