Christian Harm becomes new Chief Financial Officer
The Supervisory Board of Linde Material Handling has appointed Christian Harm (50) as a member of the Executive Board for four years with effect from January 1, 2019.
Christian Harm will be responsible for the Finance department, which was most recently headed by the Chairman of the Management Board, Andreas Krinninger. He will also assume responsibility for the Aschaffenburg and Weilbach production plants.
Harm has been Executive Vice President Corporate Strategy of the Kion Group since 2012 and, in this role, has significantly shaped the strategic direction of the Group. Prior to this, he had been Head of Purchasing in Linde's Material Handling division since 2003 and became Vice President Purchasing of the Kion Group in 2006. From 1999 to 2003 he worked for the management consultancy McKinsey and from 1992 to 1998 held various commercial positions at Unilever. Christian Harm studied commercial sciences at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and the University of St. Gallen. as
