The 46-year-old business economist has been a member of the Management Board of the Hamburg-based intralogistics solutions provider since 2014. He was Head of Sales until summer 2018, after which he took over responsibility for the Technology division. He will continue in this role until Sabine Neuß takes over as the new Chief Technology Officer on January 1, 2020.

Hans-Georg Frey, former Chairman of the Board of Management, has been elected Chairman of the Board of Management by the Supervisory Board. Frey was Chairman of the Board of Management of Jungheinrich from 2007 until the end of August this year. At the Annual General Meeting in spring, the shareholders elected him to the Supervisory Board with effect from September 1, 2019.

As announced last year, the previous Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Jürgen Peddinghaus, has resigned from his position. Peddinghaus had been a member of the Jungheinrich Supervisory Board since 2001 and its Chairman since 2006.

Jungheinrich had already announced its plans for the planned generational change in the company's management more than a year ago, thus setting the course for an orderly handover of the top positions on the Board of Management and Supervisory Board at an early stage. as
