The Lemgo-based research institutes Fraunhofer IOSB-INA and the Institute for Industrial Information Technology (inIT) at OWL University will be presenting the latest results of their research work on a versatile production system, for example. Various ideas and solutions for intelligent automation will be presented on the multi-vendor system. One practical example is the use of artificial intelligence for condition monitoring. Innovative, self-learning models are designed to make the work of humans in the digital factory easier and optimize the process of system monitoring and maintenance, ideally providing feedback even before a production failure occurs.

Beckhoff, KEB, Lenze, Phoenix Contact, Wago and Weidmüller will also be presenting new approaches in the field of data analytics. This will give trade fair visitors an overview of the various solutions and their added value. They can experience them on a machine application with a virtual production environment. as
