Binder takes over insolvent Eureca companies

Binder took over the business operations of the insolvent companies of the Eucrea Group, headquartered in Pforzheim, with retroactive effect from June 1, 2019.

The four companies include the surface finishing companies FMB Technik and Weinbrecht & Kücherer Oberflächenveredelung, the latter of which is best known to the wider public for finishing the Bambi television award, as well as Eucrea Industrieservice, which specializes in the construction of electroplating systems, and Eucrea Hexagon. Binder is transferring the main assets to a company that will operate on the market under the name Binder Galvanic Surfaces.

Markus Binder, Managing Partner of the Binder Group, is optimistic about the future: "With the new division, we are pooling our strengths and expanding our expertise. Binder Galvanic Surfaces is the perfect addition to our group of companies. We are looking forward to the tasks ahead." Almost all of the more than 100 jobs are to be retained and concentrated at the Pforzheim site in future. as
