Weber expands company headquarters in Wolfratshausen
Weber Schraubautomaten has begun the expansion of its headquarters in Wolfratshausen. The company is investing in a significant increase in capacity for optimized production and administrative processes.
With the ground-breaking ceremony on February 27, Weber gave the go-ahead for the extension and expansion of its central company headquarters on Hans-Urmiller-Ring in Wolfratshausen. Over the next 24 months, capacities are to be expanded both in production and in the company's administration.
As part of the extension and expansion, the existing two-storey administration building will be extended by two storeys and a four-storey extension will be added. At the same time, the existing production hall will be expanded from 3,100 square meters to 5,600 square meters. In addition, a separate parking garage will be built on the factory premises, which will also offer storage facilities for bicycles and a charging station for electric vehicles.
The medium-sized family business, founded in 1956, is one of the market leaders in the development and manufacture of machines and systems for the automation of joining and assembly processes. 290 men and women are employed in the rafting town, plus around 100 employees worldwide. More than 1,200 machines and systems leave the production facilities every year. as
