Samag Group: Christian Kleinjung joins the management board

As part of its corporate development, the Samag Group in Saalfeld is strengthening its management team with Christian Kleinjung.

The Group has grown by around 50% since 2012, the individual business units have developed extremely satisfactorily and are focusing on their specific markets and customers in a targeted and solution-oriented manner. This consistent development is complemented by the introduction of a holding structure with service-oriented central functions.

Together with Roland L. Emig, Managing Director since 2012, Christian Kleinjung will actively accompany the next phase in the further development of the Samag Group. "The open and trusting discussions and the challenges that the German mechanical engineering industry on the one hand and a premium automotive supplier on the other will have to face in the coming years have convinced me to take on this extremely exciting task," says Christian Kleinjung.

Christian Kleinjung holds a degree in business administration and started his career as a senior executive at the Geberit sanitary group and as a consultant and auditor at the auditing firm KPMG.

From 2006 to 2016, Mr. Kleinjung held various national and international management positions within the Weidmüller Group. Between 2006 and 2012, he was responsible for the Finance and Facility Management divisions as global Group Division Manager as well as several service companies as Managing Director. From 2012 to 2014, Mr. Kleinjung was the sole Managing Director for the Middle East region at Weidmüller. From 2014, Mr. Kleinjung was appointed Member of the Board/CFO Asia. As CFO, he was responsible for the entire Asian market. In addition to the traditional tasks of the finance department, the entire supply chain was one of his main responsibilities.

Over the past twelve years, Kleinjung has built up extensive international experience in top management. Most recently, as Managing Director of Qundis GmbH Erfurt, he was responsible for finance, purchasing, processes and IT. kp
