"The increasing demand for innovative sensors and the associated strong growth of Innovative Sensor Technology IST AG have made the extension necessary. We are confident that we have created the necessary space for even more innovation," says Matthias Altendorf.

The plant, which covers over 13,500 square meters, offers a production area of around 3,700 square meters, around 1,500 of which are clean rooms. The office areas and canteen have also been enlarged. The expansion was necessitated by increasing production requirements and the growing need for space. Since the move to Ebnat-Kappel in 2012, the number of employees at the subsidiary has doubled from 100 to almost 200. After one and a half years of construction, they were able to move into the building at the beginning of 2019.
