Bosch Global Supplier Award goes to SSI Schäfer

Every two years, Bosch honors the best of its global suppliers with the "Bosch Global Supplier Award". This year, the award went to SSI Schäfer in the "Indirect Purchasing" category in the "Plastic Injection Molding Container" sector. The prize is awarded for above-average performance in the manufacture and supply of products or services - particularly in terms of quality, costs, innovation and logistics. Of its approximately 43,000 suppliers, Bosch presented the award to 47 suppliers from 15 countries.

The handover ceremony under the motto "Transforming Together. Staying Ahead." took place on July 10 in Blaichach. The company has been recognizing the top performance of its suppliers with this prestigious award since 1987.

"We are delighted to receive the 'Bosch Global Supplier Award' and feel that this confirms that we are focusing correctly on development, production and implementation. In addition to practicality and individualization, a long service life of the load carriers is also important," says Dr. Armin Vogel, Executive Vice President Plastics at SSI Schaefer.

The decision on the world's best suppliers is made by a jury in the categories of indirect purchasing, raw materials and components per business sector. In addition, suppliers were able to submit their products, processes or technologies with high innovation potential for Bosch for the award in a special category.
