Travel and steering drives from SPN Schwaben Präzision in Nördlingen stand for maximum flexibility and quality, tailored to the requirements of manufacturers of driverless transport systems. Now, for the first time, the company has put its expertise into a new type of traction-steering drive for omnidirectional driving applications that can be used in various intralogistics applications.
The basis for a technically powerful and economically efficient implementation of the new drive system at SPN Schwaben Präzision is access to a wide range of proven system components. Building on this, the manufacturer has now developed a drive system for the first time that is able to combine quality with a long service life and keep time and costs to a minimum. From driverless transport systems to driverless forklift trucks, there are no limits to the driving tasks - but as an eco-line, it is interesting for cost-optimized drive systems.
SPN's proven expertise in the field of gearing and gear design is cross-industry and offers customers the opportunity to benefit from the knowledge gained from development work for other customers and industries. Visitors will be able to inspect the eco-line power steering drive at the trade fair and get an idea of the properties and design of the system components as well as the processing. The eco-line gearbox meets the highest demands in the smallest possible size. The wheel can be moved omnidirectionally and carries a load of up to 1.5 tons.
