Motek 2023
Efficient solutions for in-house transportation
Blickle will be presenting its extensive range of efficient solutions for in-plant transport at Motek 2023 from October 10 to 13 in Stuttgart. In addition to a wide range of wheels and castors and the new aluminum profile castors, the highlights at the trade fair stand include the electric drive systems from the ErgoMove series. The company is expanding its portfolio in this area with the EM 2000P heavy-duty version, which can be used for loads of up to 2,000 kilograms via plug & play and can be integrated with little effort. Another highlight at the trade fair stand is the range of electrically conductive wheels and castors.
The ErgoMove brand of electric drive systems makes in-house material transportation easier. They support the operator when moving, steering and braking applications of all kinds. This significantly reduces the effort required and thus ensures better working conditions. The electric drives also score highly in terms of occupational safety. With ErgoMove, Blickle offers a modular system that can be used to put together individual solutions for a wide range of logistics challenges. The components can be easily integrated into existing applications via plug & play.
Suitable drives for every application
The ErgoMove product range includes suitable models for many applications and load ranges. The new ErgoMove 500 for loads up to 500 kilograms is particularly compact and designed for the smallest installation spaces. The drive is integrated directly into the fixed castor. The ErgoMove 1000 is designed to optimize logistics processes with loads of up to 1,000 kilograms. A new addition to the portfolio is the SWITCH & MOVE version, which has a plug-in cockpit. The ErgoMove 2000, which is designed for applications in industry and special machine construction with loads of up to 2,000 kilograms, is also available. This received a major facelift in mid-2022 and is now also available as the ErgoMove 2000P plug & play version with an ergonomic cockpit. The EM 2000P also has a new generation of motors with an additional gear unit. For heavyweights and systems weighing up to four tons, the product range includes the ErgoMove 4000, which is available with a remote control on request to provide a clear view of the travel path.
New rollers for aluminum profiles
Today, aluminum profile systems are indispensable in the construction of machines, operating equipment and systems. Blickle has developed an extensive standard range of aluminum profile castors to make aluminum profile systems easy to move. These can be adapted to almost any profile using two special mounting plates. Blickle also offers electrically conductive aluminum profile castors. These conductive castors ensure safe transportation in environments where electrostatic charging must be avoided.
More performance in conveyor technology
One area of application with constantly growing demands on wheels and castors is conveyor technology. When it comes to transporting people, goods or machines, ever greater loads have to be moved reliably at higher speeds and often in continuous operation. Dynamic acceleration, travel and braking cause extreme loads. High speeds, short rest periods and increasingly heavy loads require materials that can withstand the high dynamic loads and heat generated during use. These requirements can only be met with outstanding technology. Blickle is able to guarantee the greatest possible efficiency through the individual design of all components of a wheel. The guide rollers, drive wheels, load wheels and flanged wheels from the standard range meet almost every requirement of conveyor technology. Thanks to the high level of vertical integration at the company's headquarters in Rosenfeld, Blickle can manufacture the optimum combination of tread, wheel body, wheel geometry and wheel bearing on a customer-specific basis if required.
