Trapezoidal thread

am,

Spindles and nuts almost everywhere

Trapezoidal threaded spindles and nuts are used to move components linearly, fix workpieces or make adjustments in devices.

These modules convert rotary movements into longitudinal movements, can initiate large positioning forces and are indispensable in many applications. The motion threads are suitable for rapid positioning, can transmit large forces and torques and are wear-resistant. This also applies to the GN 103 standard versions offered by Ganter in various dimensions. They are produced using the roll-rolling process, which compacts the material and results in good surface qualities.

Ganter supplies spindles made of either C15 case-hardened steel or A2 stainless steel in the most common spindle sizes as well as single or multiple threads. In order to translate rotary movements into longitudinal movements, a suitable spindle nut is required in addition to the trapezoidal thread spindle; this is available in gunmetal or in the plastic variants polyamide (PA) or polyacetal (POM).
