New logistics center
Leuze grows in Asia
In order to better meet the needs of its Asian customers, Leuze electronic is opening a new central logistics center for the Asian market in Singapore.
Following the ground-breaking ceremony in June for its central, global logistics center in Unterlenningen, near its headquarters in Owen, southern Germany, Leuze electronic has now inaugurated its new distribution center in Singapore. "The high order intake in recent years has been a positive challenge for us and requires a new form of global warehouse logistics," explains Ulrich Balbach, CEO at Leuze electronic.
The positive growth trend of previous years at Leuze electronic continued internationally in 2018. The company is therefore continuing to invest in new global structures - including in Singapore. "Thanks to our focus on our target industries of intralogistics and laboratory automation as well as our regional expansion in Southeast Asia, we were able to record enormous growth in the Asian market," says Matthias Höhl, Vice President Asia at Leuze.
The optical sensor manufacturer also sees Asia as an important growth market for the future. The new central Leuze distribution center in Singapore will operate in the local time zone and thus better meet the needs and requirements of its Asian Leuze customers. as
