Collaborative transport robot
Transport loads weighing up to 1,000 kg
The Danish robot manufacturer Mobil Industrial Robots, or MiR for short, is launching its most powerful collaborative transport robot to date, the MiR1000.
In future, it can be used to transport pallets and other heavy goods weighing up to one ton. It has two flexible pallet lifters with which it can handle standard Euro pallets as well as the 40-inch to 48-inch pallets commonly used in North America.
With the help of sensors and cameras, the robots move safely alongside people in warehouses, production or assembly facilities. The new AI-supported image processing system MiR AI Camera enables the robots to plan optimized routes. For example, the transport robots can detect and avoid blocked or heavily frequented areas.
