Shrink fit lining from Iscar
With JET cooling along the tool shank
X-Stream-Shrinkin is the name of the latest addition to Iscar's Srkin-CX series.
The new shrink fit chuck is suitable for all solid carbide, HSS and steel tools in diameters from 6 to 32 mm and features JET cooling along the tool shank, which ensures precise cooling and lubrication of the cutting edges throughout the entire cutting process.
As cooling is not interrupted, the tool holder also reduces the risk of thermal shock and prevents built-up edges from forming. According to the company, the new shrink fit chucks improve the surface quality of the machined workpieces and are suitable for high-speed milling.
