Transportation on brushes
Technical brushes from Mink are suitable for the gentle transportation of sensitive workpieces. According to the manufacturer, the adaptability of the brushes to different surfaces ensures part quality and avoids rejects.
The MBS system for gentle parts transport as a conveyor belt or in accumulation conveyor mode. The selective contact with the brush fibers prevents the parts, some of which are contaminated with oil, from sticking to the belt.
The MBS system uses injection-molded polypropylene parts for the chain links and high-strength thermoplastics (POM) for the sprockets. Centre distances of up to 15 meters can be achieved. Special support profiles round off the system for long conveying distances. The belt width can be individually configured in hundred-millimeter increments.
Various fastening options open up further areas of application. Additional standard products have been continuously added to the range, which, for example, significantly increase the load-bearing capacity of the belt through denser bristling. The fiber material is also adapted to the respective customer requirements. In most cases, the design of a conveyor system with modular belts without bristles does not need to be changed; simply replacing the sprockets is sufficient. The dimensions of the MBS system are precisely matched to the existing modular belts.
