Norma Group: Dr. Michael Schneider is the new Chairman of the Management Board

The Supervisory Board of the Norma Group has appointed Dr. Michael Schneider as Chairman of the Management Board on a permanent basis. He had already assumed the duties of CEO ad interim on August 1 in addition to his responsibilities as CFO. His predecessor Bernd Kleinhens resigned from the Management Board by mutual agreement on July 31.

We are convinced that he will successfully develop the Norma Group," says Lars Magnus Berg, Chairman of the Supervisory Board. "With this appointment, we express our confidence in Dr. Michael Schneider and look forward to our continued cooperation."

Dr. Michael Schneider has been a member of the Executive Board and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company since 1 July 2015. He previously held management positions in various companies in the automotive and chemical industries as well as in medical technology in Germany and abroad.

"I am convinced that Dr. Michael Schneider will consolidate and advance the Norma Group's strong position as an international market leader for highly developed and standardized connection technology and fluid transport systems even in difficult times," says Lars Magnus Berg, Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

In addition to the position of Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Michael Schneider will fill the position of Chief Financial Officer until further notice. The Management Board currently consists of two members. Another member of the Management Board is Dr. Friedrich Klein, Chief Operating Officer (COO). The Supervisory Board is expected to decide on further positions on the Management Board in the coming months.
