Menzerna expands management board
Stefan Sulzmaier has been Managing Director of Menzerna Polishing Compounds since January 1, 2019 and forms the management team with Dr. Tilo Franz. He will be responsible for sales and marketing, while Franz will oversee R&D, production and commercial services.
Sulzmaier was part of the management team at Zschimmer & Schwarz, an innovative specialty chemicals manufacturer, for many years. In his last position, he managed the Oil, Gas and Chemicals division of SGS Germany in Hamburg. Tilo Franz is convinced that "Mr. Sulzmaier is an experienced and successful chemicals manager who has everything it takes to put our company plans into practice".
"The growth of recent years necessitates this expansion of our management team and is an important step forward in the markets that are strategically important for Menzerna." The sales, laboratory and application technology departments have also been expanded, and the infrastructure at the Ötigheim and Qingdao sites has been strengthened in order to expand the company's position in the industrial polishing sector. For example, a new logistics hall was put into operation in 2017 and an additional mixer with a capacity of 3,000 tons per year in 2018.
