HeiMotion Dynamic servomotors further developed

The market is constantly pushing for even more compact and powerful products. With these requirements in mind, drive specialist Heidrive has further developed its existing HeiMotion Dynamic (HMD) series to achieve an overall length reduction of over 30 percent using short end caps as standard for various encoders and connectors. This considerable reduction in length is made possible by optimized motor technology with high efficiency.

The 400/480 VAC motors integrate well into the Heidrive modular system, as existing options such as encoders, brakes, connectors, controllers etc. can still be used. In addition, the series, which consists of seven flange sizes with power limits of 50 W - 14 kW, can be combined with a wide range of gearboxes.

The highly dynamic drives are ideally suited for all applications with a standstill torque of 0.2 Nm to 105 Nm and are frequently used in the automation industry and in robotics. According to the company, the HeiMotion Dynamic motors are also characterized by a very high power density as well as a robust and compact design. In addition to low moments of inertia and high levels of efficiency, the motors also have very low cogging torques and very high acceleration values.
