The Code Meter technology protects and licenses software in virtual environments, for example in Docker containers with Kubernetes. Hilscher's flagship store of the OI4 community uses this technology. The Code Meter License Portal offers manufacturers customizable workflows, management of licenses and subscriptions, self-service for customers and much more. With Code Meter Cloud, licenses are stored in the cloud instead of on the device, in a mobile memory card with CmReady or in the CmDongle. The encryption tool AxProtector.NET now supports NET8 applications. Axprotector Compile Time Protection (CTP) obfuscates the program code, encrypts the program flow and data during compilation and provides integrity checking measures, which protects against reverse engineering attacks.
