Jumo is one of "Germany's best family businesses"
The F.A.Z Institute has awarded Jumo the "Germany's Best Family Businesses" certificate. This makes Jumo one of 770 companies in Germany to receive the seal this year.
The analysis was carried out in two stages on the basis of what is known as "social listening": first, all texts with relevant search terms relating to the evaluated companies were downloaded from the Internet and recorded. The collected data was then fragmented and analyzed using artificial intelligence methods.
Around 4.3 million mentions of more than 2,600 family businesses were identified and assigned for the study. In addition, selected data from the DDW ranking of the master database of the German economy was included and combined with the values from social listening to create an overall ranking.
The areas evaluated were products and service, innovation, sustainability, profitability, management performance and assessment as an employer. Jumo is one of 18 companies in the "Suppliers of measurement technology" sector to receive the certificate.
For Managing Directors Bernhard and Michael Juchheim and Dimitrios Charisiadis, the certificate is proof of the success of the company's long-term policy: "We are not focusing on the fastest possible sales growth, but on sustainable development, in which securing and creating jobs plays a central role," emphasizes Bernhard Juchheim. This strategic focus has also proven its worth in the current corona crisis. as
